How does nystatin/triamcinolone work?
nystatin/triamcinolone is a combination of two medications that treat fungal infections. Nystatin (an antifungal) stops the fungus from building a protective covering so that it can’t grow and reproduce, and triamcinolone (a corticosteroid) relieves itching, swelling, and redness of the skin.
How do I take nystatin/triamcinolone?
nystatin/triamcinolone is applied as a thin layer to the affected area(s) twice daily in the morning and evening.
