About Hezkue spray
Hezkue contains the active ingredient sildenafil, developed to treat erectile dysfunction in adult men. Sildenafil belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. Hezkue is available as an oromucosal spray.
Sildenafil is commonly prescribed to treat the condition erectile dysfunction, a condition in which sildenafil works by temporarily increasing the blood flow to the penis, during periods of sexual stimulation.
Sildenafil is available as a tablet with a prescription as generic sildenafil or under brand names Viagra, Liverize, Nipatra and Aronix. It is also available as the brand Viagra Connect, over the counter.
Sildenafil in certain doses is also used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (high blood pressure affecting blood vessels supplying the lungs) by relaxing blood vessels in the chest. It is available with a prescription under the brand names Revatio or Grandipam.
NowPatient offers Hezkue oromucosal spray as a treatment for erectile dysfunction following an online consultation with a prescriber.

Answers to Popular Questions About Hezkue
What is Hezkue?
Hezkue is a prescription oromucosal spray containing sildenafil citrate (25 mg per mL), used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult men. It is the first and only licensed liquid sildenafil formulation available in the UK. Each actuation of the pump delivers 0.5 mL containing 12.5 mg of sildenafil. Hezkue contains the same active ingredient as Viagra but is delivered as an oral spray rather than a tablet. It is manufactured by Farmalider (marketed by Aspargo Labs) and is a prescription-only medicine. Hezkue offers a convenient alternative for men who have difficulty swallowing tablets or who prefer a faster-absorbing formulation.
How does Hezkue work?
Hezkue contains sildenafil, a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. Sildenafil blocks the PDE5 enzyme in the blood vessels of the penis, allowing smooth muscle relaxation and increased blood flow to enable an erection in response to sexual stimulation. Hezkue does not cause an erection on its own — sexual arousal is required. The oromucosal spray formulation is absorbed through the lining of the mouth, with initial absorption observed within 5 minutes of administration, potentially providing a faster onset than conventional tablets.
How do I take Hezkue?
Shake the bottle for approximately 20 seconds before each use. Remove the child-proof cap, attach the dosage pump, and prime by pressing until a full spray is delivered. Tilt your head back slightly, open your mouth, and spray the prescribed number of actuations onto your tongue. Swallow immediately. Take approximately one hour before sexual activity. The recommended starting dose is 50 mg (4 actuations). Based on effectiveness and tolerability, the dose may be increased to 100 mg (8 actuations) or decreased to 25 mg (2 actuations). Do not take more than one dose in 24 hours.
What are the side effects of Hezkue?
Side effects are the same as for all sildenafil products. Very common effects (more than 1 in 10 men) include headache. Common effects (1 in 10 to 1 in 100) include facial flushing, nasal congestion, dizziness, nausea, visual disturbances (such as a blue tinge to vision), and indigestion. Serious but rare side effects include priapism (a painful erection lasting more than 4 hours — seek emergency medical help immediately) and sudden hearing loss. Hezkue must not be used with nitrate medications (such as GTN spray or isosorbide mononitrate) as the combination can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
How can I get Hezkue?
Hezkue is a prescription-only medicine and requires a consultation with a qualified prescriber. It can be obtained through online prescribing services such as NowPatient, which offers discreet online consultations and home delivery from a registered pharmacy. Hezkue is not currently routinely available on the NHS and is primarily available through private prescriptions. It may be preferred by men who have difficulty swallowing tablets or who want the potentially faster onset of a spray formulation.
