Your Privacy Choice
This page explains the choices you have about how Infohealth Ltd, trading as NowPatient (“Infohealth”, “NowPatient”, “we”, “us” or “our”), uses your personal information for advertising and other purposes, and how to make them. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
1. Opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising
We do not sell personal information for money. Like many websites, we use cookies and pixels from advertising partners to show you NowPatient adverts on other websites and to measure how well they work. Under some state laws, including in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas and Virginia, this can count as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information or “targeted advertising”.
You have the right to opt out. To do so:
- Use the toggle below: switch off “Advertising cookies and data sharing” and click “Save my choices”.
- Use Global Privacy Control (GPC): if your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request for that browser.
- Email us: send a request to dpo@nowpatient.com with the subject line “Do not sell or share”. Include the email address linked to your account so we can apply your choice to your account as well as your browser.
Choices made with the toggle or GPC apply to the browser and device you use at the time. If you clear your cookies or use another browser or device, please make your choice again. If you are logged in when you opt out, we will also apply your choice to your account.
2. Limit the use of sensitive personal information
We use sensitive personal information, such as health information and government ID, only to provide the Services you ask for, keep them secure, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations. We do not use health information for advertising unless you have given us your separate, express consent.
If you have given consent and want to withdraw it, or if you are a California resident who wants to limit our use of your sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the Services, use the toggle below or email dpo@nowpatient.com with the subject line “Limit sensitive information”.
3. Cookie preferences
You can choose which non-essential cookies we use:
- Strictly necessary cookies: always on, because the website cannot work without them.
- Analytics cookies: help us understand how the site is used. You can turn these off.
- Advertising cookies: used to show and measure NowPatient adverts. You can turn these off.
4. Marketing messages
- Email: click “unsubscribe” in any marketing email or email support@nowpatient.com.
- Text messages: reply STOP to any marketing text.
You will still receive service messages about your account, orders and care.
5. Your other privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to receive a list of third parties we have shared it with. Washington, Nevada and Connecticut residents have additional rights over consumer health data. See our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy for details, or email dpo@nowpatient.com to make a request.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
6. Authorized agents
You can ask someone else to make a request for you. We will ask the agent for proof of your signed permission and may ask you to verify your identity directly, unless the agent holds a valid power of attorney.
7. Appeals
If we decline your request, you can appeal by emailing dpo@nowpatient.com with the subject line “Privacy appeal” within 45 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact your state Attorney General.
