How do I take OZURDEX?
- OZURDEX is an intravitreal implant that should be carried out under controlled aseptic conditions. Following the intravitreal injection, patients should be monitored for elevation in intraocular pressure and for endophthalmitis
Is it safe for me to take OZURDEX?
OZURDEX is a safe and effective treatment when used for FDA licensed indications. However, like all medications, they may give you unwanted side effects. You should always discuss potential side effects with your physician to ensure the medication is suitable and right for you. You should not use this medication in the following:
- Ocular or periocular infections
- Glaucoma
- Torn or ruptured posterior lens capsule
- Hypersensitivity

Common side effects of OZURDEX:

- Conjunctival hemorrhage
OZURDEX Serious Side Effects
