What is Vyloy used for?
Vyloy is a prescription medicine used to treat adults with advanced stomach cancer (gastric adenocarcinoma) or gastroesophageal junction (GEJ) cancer.
How does Vyloy work?
Vyloy is a monoclonal antibody that targets the Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2) protein, which is found on the surface of certain cancer cells. Once Vyloy attaches to the CLDN18.2 protein, it flags the cancer cells for the immune system to destroy them.
How do I take Vyloy?
The recommended first dose of Vyloy is 800 mg/m2 followed by 600 mg/m2 every 3 weeks or 400 mg/m2 every 2 weeks via IV infusion.
