How does TAMIFLU work?
TAMIFLU is an antiviral medication. More specifically, it’s a neuraminidase inhibitor (NAI). Neuraminidase is a protein that’s found on the surface of the influenza (flu) virus. By blocking this protein, TAMIFLU prevents the flu virus from releasing copies of itself throughout your body and making you feel sicker.
