How do I take SYNVISC ONE?
SYNVISC ONE is injected intraarticularly into your knee once weekly for 1 to 5 weeks.
Is it safe for me to take SYNVISC ONE?
SYNVISC ONE is a safe and effective treatment when used for FDA licensed indications. However, like all medications, they may give you unwanted side effects. You should always discuss potential side effects with your physician to ensure the medication is suitable and right for you. Do not administer to patients with known hypersensitivity (allergy) to hyaluronan (sodium hyaluronate) preparations. Do not inject SYNVISC-ONE in the knees of patients having knee joint infections or skin diseases or infections in the area of the injection site.

- Injection site reaction (redness, swelling)

Serious side effects are rare with SYNVISC ONE. Contact your healthcare provider immediately if you experience any of the following.
- Severe allergic reaction: rash, trouble breathing, swelling of lips, tongue, or throat
