How does RETEVMO work?

RETEVMO is a protein in the body that signals cells to grow and divide. Your body makes RET proteins using instructions given by the RET gene. In certain cancers, changes (mutations) in the RET gene lead to abnormal RET proteins. These abnormal proteins cause cancer cells to grow out of control.
