Nuedexta has 2 medications. Dextromethorphan bromide balances out certain chemicals in the brain that affect mood and behavior while quinidine helps prevent dextromethorphan from being broken down too quickly in the body.
How do I take Nuedexta?
Nuedexta is typically taken once daily for 1 week and then increased to 1 tablet every 12 hours.
