Nubeqa is used to treat a type of prostate cancer called nonmetastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (nmCRPC). Other drugs are available that can treat nmCRPC. Some may be a better fit for you than others.

The recommended dose of NUBEQA is 600 mg (two 300 mg tablets) taken orally, twice daily, with food [see Clinical Pharmacology (12.3)]. Continue treatment until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity occurs.

Alcohol: Nubeqa is not known to interact with alcohol. But alcohol and Nubeqa may cause some of the same side effects, such as nausea and fatigue (low energy). If you drink, combining this drug with alcohol may raise your risk of these side effects.

Rapaflo (Silodosin) is an expensive drug used to treat enlargement of the prostate gland in men, a condition called benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH. It is not for use in women. It is slightly more popular than comparable drugs. There are currently no generic alternatives for Rapaflo.

An oral treatment that is not chemotherapy NUBEQA is a prescription medication used to treat adults with prostate cancer: that has not spread to other parts of the body and no longer responds to medical or surgical treatment that lowers testosterone (non-metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer, or nmCRPC)

You usually carry on taking darolutamide for as long as the treatment is working, and you are not experiencing too many side effects.

Improved survival at 4 years After 4 years, about 63% of patients who received darolutamide were still alive compared with about 50% of patients who received placebo.

No interactions were found between Nubeqa and prednisone.
