Loteprednol Etabonate/Tobramycin is available as an ophthalmic suspension that contains 0.5% of loteprednol etabonate and 0.3% of tobramycin.

Loteprednol Etabonate/Tobramycin is an antibiotic / corticosteroid and is used fir the following:

• Inflamed eyes that have a bacterial infection
• Inflamed eyes that could become infected with bacteria

Loteprednol Etabonate/Tobramycin contains two ingredients that work together to treat or prevent inflammation and bacterial infections of the eye. Loteprednol, a corticosteroid, lessens eye inflammation and relieves eye pain. Tobramycin, an antibiotic, prevents bacteria from making the nutrients they need to survive.

Place 1 to 2 drops inside the lower eyelid(s) of the affected eye(s) every 4 to 6 hours. For the first couple days, you may need to start off using Loteprednol Etabonate/Tobramycin every 1 to 2 hours, then use it less often as your symptoms improve.

Loteprednol Etabonate/Tobramycin is a safe and effective treatment when used for FDA licensed indications. However, like all medications, they may give you unwanted side effects. You should not use this medication if you have viral diseases of the cornea and conjunctiva including epithelial herpes simplex keratitis (dendritic keratitis), vaccinia, and varicella, and also
