Lifileucel is a tumor-derived autologous T cell immunotherapy indicated for the treatment of adult patients with unresectable or metastatic melanoma previously treated with a PD-1 blocking antibody, and if BRAF V600 mutation positive, a BRAF inhibitor with or without a MEK inhibitor.
How does Lifileucel work?
Lifileucel is a tumor-Infiltrating Lymphocyte (TIL) therapy used in the treatment of advanced melanoma. TIL Therapies involve extracting immune cells called lymphocytes from a patient’s tumor, growing them in a laboratory, and then reinfusing them back into the patient’s body.

Lifileucel is in given in an inpatient hospital setting with an intensive care facility.
