Idecabtagene Vicleucel is a type of immunotherapy, also called CAR-T therapy. During treatment, your T-cells are removed from your body and sent to a lab. They are then modified to find and attack the multiple myeloma cancer cells in your body. Then the T-cells are infused back into your body to destroy cancer cells.
How do I take Idecabtagene Vicleucel?
You will be given a chemotherapy regimen of cyclophosphamide and fludarabine and also premedicated with acetaminophen and an H1-antihistamine before an infusion of Idecabtagene Vicleucel. You will then be receive an infusion of Idecabtagene Vicleucel within the recommended dose range is 300 to 510 × 106 CAR-positive T cells
