Hyaluronic Acid is indicated for the treatment of pain in osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee in patients who have failed to respond adequately to conservative non-pharmacologic therapy and simple analgesics (e.g., acetaminophen).

Hyaluronic Acid is injected directly into the knee joint to supplement the natural fluid that becomes depleted in people with osteoarthritis. This Hyaluronic Acid acts as a lubricant and shock absorber, which helps to reduce pain, stiffness, and improve joint mobility.
How do I take Hyaluronic Acid?
Your doctor, or other qualified health professional, will inject Hyaluronic Acid (2 mL) into your knee for a total of three weekly injections.
