EXKIVITY is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor and is used to treat locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with EGFR exon 20 insertion mutations in people who have previously had chemotherapy.
How does EXKIVITY work?
EXKIVITY works by blocking tyrosine kinases in cancer cells. Tyrosine kinases are proteins that tell cancer cells to grow and divide. By stopping these proteins, EXKIVITY helps treat NSCLC by aiming to slow down cancer growth.
How do I take EXKIVITY?
EXKIVITY is typically started at 160 mg (4 capsules) by mouth once daily with or without food. Your dose might be lowered if you experience certain side effects or if you’re taking certain medications.

The following medications may interact with EXKIVITY:
- CYP3A Inhibitors: Avoid concomitant use of EXKIVITY with strong or moderate CYP3A inhibitors. If concomitant use of a moderate
- CYP3A inhibitor is unavoidable, reduce the dose of EXKIVITY
- CYP3A Inducers: Avoid concomitant use of EXKIVITY with strong or moderate CYP3A inducers

Is EXKIVITY safe in pregnancy?
EXKIVITY can harm your unborn baby. If you can become pregnant, your healthcare provider should do a pregnancy test before you start treatment with EXKIVITY. You should use an effective form of non-hormonal birth control during treatment and for 1 month after your last dose of EXKIVITY. Birth control pills (oral contraceptives) and other hormonal forms of birth control may not work as well during treatment with EXKIVITY. Tell your healthcare provider right away if you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant during
treatment with EXKIVITY. For males who have female partners who are able to become pregnant, you should use effective birth control during treatment and for 1 week after your last dose of EXKIVITY.
