DURYSTA is a prostaglandin. It helps fluid drain from inside the eye, which lowers eye pressure.
How do I take DURYSTA?
DURYSTA is a dissolvable implant that contains 10 mcg of medication. It’s placed in the affected eye(s) by a healthcare provider as a one-time procedure. The implant releases medication into your eye over time.
Is it safe for me to take DURYSTA?
DURYSTA is a safe and effective treatment when used for FDA licensed indications. However, like all medications, they may give you unwanted side effects. You should always discuss potential side effects with your physician to ensure the medication is suitable and right for you. You should not use this medication in the following:
- Ocular or periocular infections
- Corneal endothelial cell dystrophy
- Prior corneal transplantation
- Absent or ruptured posterior lens capsule
- Hypersensitivity

- Eye infection (endophthalmitis): red eyes, sensitivity to light, eye pain, change in vision
