Bendeka is the brand name for bendamustine and is available as an intravenous infusion.

Bendeka is available in a multiple-dose vial that contains 100 mg/4 mL (25 mg/mL) of bendamustine.

Bendeka is used for treatment of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL).

Bendeka is an alkylating drug that works by slowing down the growth of cancer cells.

Bendeka is dosed as follows:

For CLL:

• 100 mg/m2 is infused intravenously over 10 minutes on Days 1 and 2 of a 28-day cycle, for up to 6 cycles.

For NHL:

• 120 mg/m2 is infused intravenously over 10 minutes on Days 1 and 2 of a 21-day cycle, for up to 8 cycles.

You should not use this medication if you have a history of a hypersensitivity reaction to bendamustine, polyethylene glycol 400, propylene glycol, or monothioglycerol.
