Winlevi is an androgen receptor inhibitor indicated for the topical treatment of acne vulgaris in patients 12 years of age and older.

Winlevi is an androgen receptor inhibitor. While the exact way it works is unknown, it’s thought to treat acne by blocking hormones in your skin from making too much sebum (an oily, waxy substance). Too much sebum can clog pores and cause redness or swelling, which can lead to acne.

Apply a thin layer (approximately 1 gram) of Winlevi to the affected area twice daily (morning and evening).
