How does Vesicare Ls work?
Vesicare Ls is an antimuscarinic medication. It blocks a chemical in the body called acetylcholine from attaching to muscarinic receptors in the bladder. This causes your bladder muscles to relax. The medication helps you to go to the bathroom less often and have better control of urination.
How do I take Vesicare Ls?
The recommended once daily dose of Vesicare Ls is based on patient weight. Dosing should be initiated at the recommended starting dose and titrated to the lowest effective dose.

- Angioedema (severe swelling): swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat; trouble breathing
- Abnormal heart rhythm: chest pounding, fast heartbeat, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, short of breath, feeling faint or lightheaded
- Worsening glaucoma
- Worsening problems with the digestive system, like gastroparesis (delayed stomach emptying)
