Tevimbra is a programmed death receptor-1 (PD-1) blocking antibody indicated for the treatment of adult patients with unresectable or metastatic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) after prior systemic chemotherapy that did not include a PD-(L)1 inhibitor.

Tevimbra works by suppressing a protein that can keep the immune system from recognizing and attacking cancer cells.
How do I take Tevimbra?
Tevimbra is given as a 200 mg intravenous infusion once every 3 weeks. Administer the first infusion over 60 minutes. If tolerated, subsequent infusions may be administered over 30 minutes.

Tevimbra Serious Side Effects
Serious side effects are rare with Tevimbra. Contact your healthcare provider immediately if you experience any of the following: Lung problems: new or worsening cough, shortness of breath, or chest pain Stomach problems: diarrhea (loose stools) or more bowel movements than usual, stools that are black, tarry, sticky, or have blood or mucus, or severe stomach-area (abdomen) pain or tenderness Liver problems: yellowing of your skin or the whites of your eyes, severe nausea or vomiting, pain on the right side of your stomach area (abdomen), or dark urine (tea colored) Kidney problems: decrease in your amount of urine, blood in your urine, swelling in your ankles, or loss of appetite Skin problems: rash, itching, skin blistering or peeling, painful sores or ulcers in your mouth or in your nose, throat, or genital area, fever or flu-like symptoms, or swollen lymph nodes.
