Sutimlimab-JOME is a complement inhibitor. It works by attaching to certain proteins in your immune system. This prevents them from being activated so your immune system can’t attack your own red blood cells by mistake, which is what happens in CAD. This helps treat symptoms of CAD.

Sutimlimab-JOME is typically dosed based on your weight:

• 85 lbs to less than 165 lbs: The typical dose is 6,500 mg injected into the veins (intravenous or IV) once per week for 2 weeks, then every 2 weeks thereafter
• 165 lbs or greater: The typical dose is 7,500 mg given IV once per week for 2 weeks, then every 2 weeks thereafter
