Olodaterol is a safe and effective treatment when used for FDA licensed indications. However, like all medications, they may give you unwanted side effects. All LABA are contraindicated in patients with asthma without use of a longterm asthma control medication. Olodaterol is not indicated for the treatment of asthma.

Olodaterol Serious Side Effects
Serious side effects are rare with Olodaterol. Contact your healthcare provider immediately if you experience any of the following.
- Breathing problems: sudden shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, coughing, wheezing
- Low potassium: muscle pain or weakness, muscle cramps, abnormal heartbeat
- Overdose: heart attack, chest pain, fast or abnormal heart rate, dizziness, anxiety, headache, tremor, dry mouth, muscle spasms, nausea, tiredness, trouble sleeping (insomnia)
- Immediate allergic reaction: hives, swelling (lips, tongue, throat), rash, difficulty breathing, anaphylaxis (allergic reaction)
Effects of other drugs, drug classes and over-the-counter products on Olodaterol
The following medications may interact with Olodaterol:
- Other adrenergic drugs may potentiate effect. Use with caution
- Xanthine derivatives, steroids, diuretics or non-potassium sparing diuretics may potentiate hypokalemia or ECG changes. Use with caution
- MAO inhibitors, tricyclic antidepressants, and drugs that prolong QTc interval may potentiate effect on cardiovascular system. Use with extreme caution
- Beta-blockers may decrease effectiveness. Use with caution and only when medically necessary
