Ohtuvayre (ensifentrine) is an inhalation suspension used in COPD.

Ohtuvayre is available as a 3 mg/2.5 mL suspension in unit-dose ampules.

Ohtuvayre is a phosphodiesterase 3 (PDE3) inhibitor and phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitor used for the maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in adults.

Ohtuvayre blocks two proteins in the body called PDE3 and PDE4. By blocking these proteins, the medicine helps relax the muscles around the airways in the lungs. This helps to reduce COPD symptoms such as coughing, wheezing, and shortness of breath.

Ohtuvayre is typically dosed as 3 mg (one ampule) twice daily given by oral inhalation using a standard jet nebulizer with a mouthpiece.
