What is Luzu used for?
Luzu is an antifungal and is used for the following:
- Athlete’s foot (tinea pedis)
- Jock itch (tinea cruris)
- Body ringworm (tinea corporis)
How does Luzu work?
LUZUis a topical (used on the skin) antifungal medication. It stops the fungus from building a protective covering, so that it can’t grow and reproduce.
How do I take Luzu?
Luzu is dosed as follows:
- Athlete’s foot (tinea pedis) between the toes: Apply on and around the affected area(s) once a day for 2 weeks
- Jock itch (tinea cruris) and body ringworm (tinea corporis): Apply on and around the affected area(s) once a day for 1 week
- Luliconazole (Luzu) may be used to treat athlete’s foot and jock itch in children 12 to 18 years of age. For body ringworm, it is safe to give to children 2 years of age and older
