Luzu is the brand name for luliconazole and is available as a topical cream.

Luzu is available as a 1% topical cream.

Luzu is an antifungal and is used for the following:

• Athlete’s foot (tinea pedis)
• Jock itch (tinea cruris)
• Body ringworm (tinea corporis)

LUZUis a topical (used on the skin) antifungal medication. It stops the fungus from building a protective covering, so that it can’t grow and reproduce.

Luzu is dosed as follows:

• Athlete’s foot (tinea pedis) between the toes: Apply on and around the affected area(s) once a day for 2 weeks
• Jock itch (tinea cruris) and body ringworm (tinea corporis): Apply on and around the affected area(s) once a day for 1 week
• Luliconazole (Luzu) may be used to treat athlete’s foot and jock itch in children 12 to 18 years of age. For body ringworm, it is safe to give to children 2 years of age and older

Luzu is a safe and effective treatment when used for FDA licensed indications. However, like all medications, they may give you unwanted side effects. You should always discuss potential side effects with your physician to ensure the medication is suitable and right for you.
