Lotemax Gel is a steroid medication. It helps block chemicals in the eye that cause inflammation, itching, and redness.

Apply one drop into the affected eye(s) three times daily. Start 24 hours after surgery and continue it for a total of two weeks.

Lotemax Gel is a safe and effective treatment when used for FDA licensed indications. However, like all medications, they may give you unwanted side effects.
