• The dose of Fiasp will be different for each person. Your healthcare provider will determine the dose that works best for you.
• Injection: Fiasp is typically injected underneath the skin (subcutaneously) at the start of a meal or within 20 minutes after starting a meal.
• Continuous insulin pump: Refer to the instructions from your insulin pump manufacturer.

Fiasp is a safe and effective treatment when used for FDA licensed indications. However, like all medications, they may give you unwanted side effects. You should always discuss potential side effects with your physician to ensure the medication is suitable and right for you. You should not use this medication if you have symptoms of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia).

• Common side effects of Fiasp:

Serious side effects are rare with Fiasp. Contact your healthcare provider immediately if you experience any of the following.

Severe allergic reactions: rash, hives, swelling of face, tongue, and throat, difficulty breathing
Dangerously low levels of potassium: if not treated, it can lead to difficulty breathing, irregular heartbeat, and even death

• The following medications may interact with Fiasp:
• Drugs that Increase Hypoglycemia Risk or Increase or
• Decrease Blood Glucose Lowering Effect: Adjustment of
• dosage may be needed; closely monitor blood glucose.
• Drugs that Blunt Hypoglycemia Signs and Symptoms (e.g.
• beta-blockers, clonidine, guanethidine, and reserpine):
• Increased frequency of glucose monitoring may be required.
