Eysuvis is an ophthalmic suspension containing 2.5 mg/mL of loteprednol etabonate.

Eysuvis is a corticosteroid indicated for the short-term (up to two weeks) treatment of the signs and symptoms of dry eye disease.

Eysuvis is a steroid medication for your eyes. It helps block chemicals in the eye that cause inflammation, itching, and redness.

Instill one to two drops of Eysuvis into each eye four times daily.

Eysuvis is a safe and effective treatment when used for FDA licensed indications. However, like all medications, they may give you unwanted side effects. You should always discuss potential side effects with your physician to ensure the medication is suitable and right for you. You should not use this medication in the following:

• Most viral diseases of the cornea and conjunctiva including epithelial herpes simplex keratitis (dendritic keratitis), vaccinia, and varicella, and also in mycobacterial infection of the eye and fungal diseases of ocular structures

• High eye pressure, injury, or infection: eye pain, discomfort, or change in vision that doesn’t go away
