Epiduo is a combination of adapalene, a retinoid, and benzoyl peroxide, and is indicated for the topical treatment of acne vulgaris in patients 9 years of age and older.

How does Epiduo work?

Epiduo contains two medications that help treat acne. Adapalene is a retinoid, which is a form of vitamin A. It helps prevent clogged pores by removing dead skin cells and replacing them with new ones. Benzoyl peroxide is an antiseptic. It works by killing the bacteria on the skin that causes acne.

How do I take Epiduo?

Apply a thin layer of Epiduo to the affected area of skin once a day.
