Entocort EC Serious Side Effects
Serious side effects are rare with Entocort EC. Contact your healthcare provider immediately if you experience any of the following.
- Severe allergic reactions: rash, hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of face, lips, or throat
- Infections: unexplained fever, chills, tiredness, nausea, vomiting, pain, aches, infections that won’t get better
- Hormone changes: swelling of ankles, bruising easily, fatty lump or hump between shoulders

The following medications may interact with Entocort EC:
- CYP3A4 Inhibitors (e.g., ketoconazole, grapefruit juice) – Can increase systemic budesonide concentrations. Should avoid use
