EFFEXOR is typically taken by mouth 2 or 3 times daily with a total maximum daily dose of 375 mg.

EFFEXOR may increase the risk for preeclampsia when used during mid to late pregnancy. If you become pregnant while receiving EFFEXOR, talk to your healthcare provider. There is a pregnancy exposure registry that monitors pregnancy outcomes in women exposed to antidepressants, including EFFEXOR, during pregnancy. Healthcare providers are encouraged to register patients by calling the National Pregnancy Registry for Antidepressants at 1-844-405-6185 or visiting online at women’s health
