Delafloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. It works by stopping bacteria from copying their DNA, which kills the bacteria and clears the infection.
How do I take Delafloxacin?
Delafloxacin for injection is given as 300 mg by intravenous infusion over 60 minutes, every 12 hours,. You can also give a 450 mg tablet orally every 12 hours for 5 to 14 days total duration.
