Ajovy is a calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) receptor blocker. It’s a monoclonal antibody that blocks the CGRP protein in your brain and nervous system. This protein is thought to be involved with migraines and causing pain.
How do I take Ajovy?
Ajovy is typically dosed as follows:
- Inject 225 mg under the skin once every month or 675 mg under the skin once every 3 months.
