Your dose of talazoparib depends on your cancer.
- Breast cancer: The typical dose is 1 mg by mouth once a day
- Prostate cancer: The typical dose is 0.5 mg by mouth once a day

Males with female partners who are pregnant or are able to become pregnant should use effective birth control during treatment with talazoparib and for at least 4 months after receiving the last dose of talazoparib.
