How do I take Detrol?
Detrol is typically taken by mouth with a starting dose of 2 mg by mouth two times a day. Your physician might lower the dose to 1 mg two times a day based on how you respond to the medication.

Effects of other drugs, drug classes and over-the-counter products on Detrol
The following medications may interact with Detrol:
- CYP3A4 Inhibitors such as ketoconazole Increases plasma concentrations of Detrol. For patients receiving ketoconazole or other potent CYP3A4 inhibitors such as other azole antifungals (e.g., itraconazole, miconazole) or macrolide antibiotics (e.g., erythromycin, clarithromycin) or cyclosporine or vinblastine, the recommended dose of Detrol is 1 mg twice daily
