BENZACLIN is typically applied as a pea-sized amount to the affected area(s) on the face once daily.

BENZACLIN is a safe and effective treatment when used for FDA licensed indications. However, like all medications, they may give you unwanted side effects. You should always discuss potential side effects with your physician to ensure the medication is suitable and right for you. You should not take this medication if you have a known hypersensitivity to any of its components or to lincomycin. It is also contraindicated in those having a history of regional enteritis, ulcerative colitis, or antibiotic-associated
colitis.

Serious side effects are rare with BENZACLIN. Contact your healthcare provider immediately if you experience any of the following. Inflammation of your large intestine: diarrhea that does not go away, especially if it is bloody, severe stomach cramps
