No. The NowPatient Virtual Care Platform can only be used to provide services to NowPatient customers.
Yes. UK law and your regulator require you to have adequate and appropriate professional indemnity that covers your full scope of your practice including remote/telehealth work.
You’re personally responsible for ensuring this cover is in place. It may be your own policy or employer-arranged cover, but you must confirm it explicitly includes your telehealth duties.
Each service consultation has a price set by tariff. If you opt to provide a particular service, then you will be paid against that service fee. It’s very simple! The earnings are limitless and based on the time that you make available to provide services on the NowPatient Platform.
When you onboard, you will provide your banking details and company information including VAT registration (UK Only), if applicable.
After you have completed each service booking, your home page will refresh to display your updated earnings. At the end of each month, you should navigate to the ‘Invoices’ section of the home page, from where you will be able to generate an invoice. Once the invoice has been generated, it will zero your earnings and a payment will be processed into your nominated bank account, within 3-5 working days.
Onboarding is simple. Most applicants complete the online onboarding process in 15–20 minutes, depending on the information required.

Yes, you can use your own machine, provided it meets our security requirements. To protect patient privacy and ensure the security of sensitive medical data, your device must:
These safeguards are in place because our software contains highly sensitive clinical and patient information. By ensuring all devices meet the same security standards, we reduce the risk of unauthorized access, data breaches, or malware infections that could compromise patient care.
If you do not meet these requirements, you will not be able to access the software remotely. We will assist you with setup and verification during onboarding.
There are minimum requirements to be able to use the NowPatient Virtual Care Platform. You will need:
NowPatient works on the basis of connecting patients to clinicians, based on patient needs and clinician competencies. To make this work efficiently, we require you to submit your availability. This ensures that patients only book an appointment with you, if you are available.
To set your availability, simply navigate to ‘Appointments’ on the NowPatient Virtual Care Platform, then click ‘Add Shift’ to enter your available dates and times. This will then show as open slots to NowPatient users.

If we identify any screen shares, grabs or copy; your access will be immediately revoked.
